NAPLAN results slapped me in the face… AGAIN!

Ah guys, we need to stop for a moment and reflect on the recent NAPLAN results.

The ABC reported that “24% of remote students achieved strong or exceeding in comparison to 70% of metropolitan students.”

This isn’t the first time that the gap in educational outcomes for RRR students in Australia slapped me in the face. But it still hits hard!

The results further demonstrated a lack of literacy and numeracy skills across our Australian students with one third of students not achieving the minimum standards (ABC).

This just doesn’t cut it! Even in this ever-evolving digital world, basic LITERACY skills are still IMPORTANT! Spell and grammar check aren’t going to save us. So, let’s get to fixing it with skill development.
